Mike Hands Out

Michael Furlong' has been an accomplished performing musician for nearly 30 years as a songwriter, lead
vocalist, guitarist, and producer of his own original music. As such he holds four international records to his credit.
Use It Or Lose It/Atlantic Records in the United States, 1984/85, Head On Rock 'N Roll onRoadrunner Records
in England, Europe & Japan, 1984.Breakaway on Music For Nations in England & Europe, 1987/88, and Reign
Of Terror on Enigma Records internationally, 1986, all of which had single releases.

As a solo artist he has performed on Dick Clark's "American Bandstand", Showtime, and VH-1.The video for his
title track single off of the Atlantic release, "Use It Or Lose It", appeared inregular rotation on MTV and was
in hot and medium rotation on over 200 radio stations across the US. Use It Or Lose It" charted in Billboard
Magazine with Head On Rock 'N Roll being the #2 import record to England.

He had two singles released in England off of the "Breakaway" record and has appeared in
Cream, Hit Parader, Rolling Stone, and Kerrang/England publications.

In 1980 after performing throughout the US, Canada and Alaska he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where he
performed nightclubs and concerts while recording his records in North Shore Oahu.  Soon after he signed a
recording contract with Atlantic Records then moving back to Sacramento, CA where he was managed by Bruce
Cohn, Doobie Brothers & Night Ranger management, and toured to promote his releases.

A couple years later he signed up with a heavy metal band call “Wild Dogs”.  The band recorded one album
“Reign Of Terror” and was signed to Enigma Records.  Shortly into the promotion of that record, Enigma Records
went bankrupt and the album stalled.

It was then that he made a move back to Carson City, NV where he continued to write and record while performing
with Rob Hanna’s Salute to Rod Stewart in the Reno-Tahoe casino showroom circuit as well as many other
events though out the US and Canada coast to coast.

It was then in 1987 that he released the “Breakaway” record in England and Europe.

In 1991 he began performing “Petty Theft” a Tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, which is now approaching
20 years of entertaining Petty fans.
